Welcome to the SotW! each week were going to battle it out, proving who pwns! i mean having fun and making awesome stories :3

• Follows the weekly theme
  
• Can NOT use the story on the forums, and can not show it to other people before the contest is over.
  
• Can not have your name in the title/anywhere in the story
  
• Though it is the SOTW, they can be poems and etc as well

Hey, uh, does Ryi mind if I revive this thread? Could be fun...

Well, Ima do it anyways! Story of the week, suckas! All right, here's a quick rundown on the rules, for those who aren't familiar or who ignored Ryi's first post. Story of the week is a weekly challenge (as the name implies) that gives clan members the opportunity to show off their awesome writing skills. Submit either a short story or a poem that falls within the theme and the restrictions. I (or Ryi) will pick a few judges each week to judge the submitted stories and vote for their favorites. Here are the rules, in case you missed the above post by Ryi:

1. No stealing! Please use your own work.
2. Premade stories are not allowed, sorry.
3. Be sure to follow the weekly theme (if the theme is zombies, then write about zombies, not kittens).
4. You cannot use a story all ready on the forums!
5. Please do not show your work to your clan mates before the weekly challenge ends.
6. Please do not put your name in the story, or title the story. You will PM your stories to me, so I will know who you are.
7. Poems will also be accepted for Story of the Week, so long as they comply with these rules.
8. Once you finish writing your story, simply PM it to me.

Restrictions: None for this round.

I think I'm actually going to enter this one. I'll see if I can write something by next tuesday. ^_^

urghhhh, Horror is not my strong suit xD I've never really written horror before, I don't think :p Guess I'll give it a try anyway

I have to withdraw from the contest because my computer got a virus and my dad is working on it to get rid of it. So I can't get to my files. :(

mehhhhh sorry I have to ask you this bill, but, could you possibly move it to wednesday? xD I've been practicing for my All States Band audition all week, but I'll have all day wednesday to write it since I don't go into school that day.

All right, week two! Here is the theme:

Current Theme: Video Games
Examples: Fallout, Dead Space, Final Fantasy, Bioshock, Super Mario etc.
Restrictions: Your story can feature a character created completely by you or use pre-existing characters in the series. If possible, create an original story based in the game universe, or add an original touch to an all ready existing story or storyline. When you write these stories, please tell me the name of the game that the story is based off of.

All right, so, this challenge will be due either next Friday, or the Tuesday the following week (which would pretty much be two weeks). Whichever you guys would prefer.
